To Qualify For Service:
Your current household income must meet current federal guidelines. You can click here to view income qualifications.
NNEMAP Service Options:
- 1. Pick up food in the pantry during our service hours (see blue box at bottom of page for service hours).
- 2. Request a Locker Pick-Up Order, available for pick-up 24/7.
- For those unable to make it to the pantry:
- 3. Designate someone as a Proxy, who can pick up food for you
- 4. You can request a Home Delivery
PLEASE NOTE: Your household is limited to 1 visit to NNEMAP per week, across all service options. Except Home Deliveries, which are limited to twice per month.
How To Get Food in the Pantry:

- -Visit NNEMAP Food Pantry during our service hours (see blue box at bottom of page for service hours). No appointment necessary!
- -Bring a photo ID for adult head of household
- -When arrived, check in at registration desk
- To receive non-food items (diapers, baby supplies), please provide names and dates of birth for eligible household members.
- To participate in other non-food programs (holiday gifts, etc.), please provide names and dates of birth for all household members.
Locker Pick-Up Service:
To request a pick-up order, you MUST have either a phone that accepts text messages or an email you check regularly. To make your request, please fill out the following form:
REQUEST A FOOD LOCKER PICK-UP
After filling out the request form, you will receive a text message and an email, notifying you when your order is ready for pick-up. Please be sure to check your spam folder for the email notification.
- -You will have 48 hours to pick up your order from the time that you receive the notification.
- -The lockers are available for order pick-up 24/7. The lockers are located at the southwest corner of the building at NNEMAP Food Pantry (closest to Oxford St).
PLEASE NOTE it may take several days after submitting a request for your order to be ready for pick-up, due to the volume of requests we receive.

If You Cannot Get To The Pantry:
Send someone to NNEMAP as a proxy to shop for you. :
- -Print out and COMPLETE THIS PROXY FORM and send it with your representative
OR
- -Submit a handwritten note stating you are in need of food assistance and be sure to include your first and last name, your full home address, the first and last name of your proxy who is picking up food for you, and YOUR signature.
Your proxy MUST bring the Proxy Form (or letter) from you AND their own photo ID to shop.
Home Delivery Service:
NNEMAP offers food delivery services to customers who are unable to safely leave their homes. To qualify for home deliveries, one of the following must be true for your situation:
- -I am 60 years of age or older.
- -I have a compromised immune system that prevents me from going outside my residence for an extended period of time.
- -I have a medical condition that makes mobility difficult.
- -I have no transportation for at least the next 2 weeks, or no way to get to any pantry.
- -I have no one who could pick up food for me.
Home Deliveries are restricted to a 10-mile radius around NNEMAP Food Pantry. This includes those residing inside the I-270 outer belt. If you reside outside the outer belt and complete the form, your request will be canceled and no delivery will be made.

REQUEST A HOME DELIVERY
You may request deliveries twice each month. You must fill out this form each time you would like to receive a delivery. After you submit your request, we will contact you within 4-5 business days to schedule your delivery.
PLEASE NOTE that delivery appointments ARE LIMITED and are NOT AN EMERGENCY SERVICE.

- Executive Director:Roy ClarkKing Avenue United Methodist Church
Macy’s (retired)
Roy has been Executive Director of NNEMAP since 2009. His background includes a 34-year career with Lazarus and Macy’s, with 23 of those years as a General Manager. Roy’s years at Macy’s included being the regional representative to Central Ohio non-profits, an experience that led him to a career change to the non-profit sector. Roy has served on both social service and arts boards in Columbus. He attends King Avenue United Methodist Church.
- Director of Development & Marketing:Crystal Vance
Crystal came on board as the Director of Development and Marketing at the end of 2021. Crystal comes to NNEMAP from a similar role with Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine in Huntington, WV.
Crystal works closely with Executive Director, Roy Clark to promote awareness and fundraise on behalf of NNEMAP.
- Board President :Denise ArbogastDenise joined the NNEMAP Board in 2021 and is currently serving a two-year term as Board President. She has worked for Grange Insurance since 1990 and is currently the Assistant Vice President of Personal Lines Underwriting and Operations. During her tenure with Grange Insurance, she has held leadership roles in underwriting, operations, compliance, budgeting, and vendor management. Denise graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Franklin University. She enjoys playing volleyball and golf along with watching and attending various sporting events.
- Past President; Chair, Development & Marketing Committee; Governance Committee:Samuel S. Moore (Sam)Northwest Christian Church
Sam has served in several leadership roles at Northwest Christian Church in Columbus. Currently he is Congregation Moderator. A Lexington, Kentucky native, Sam holds Master’s and Bachelor degrees from the University of Kentucky and Indiana University, respectively. He is the Founder and President of Funding and Risk Innovations, a company engaged in funding of international trade and management of country and credit risk. He serves on a number of boards and advisory committees in the field of international banking and finance. Sam and his wife Mary, also active at NWCC, have two sons.

Associate Attorney, Kravitz Brown & Dortch, LLC
Ricky joined the Board in 2014 and assisted with the reorganization of NNEMAP’s governance structure. As an attorney at Kravitz, Brown & Dortch, he represents clients in a wide range of civil and criminal litigation matters. Ricky also volunteers at the Columbus Legal Aid Society’s Brief Legal Advice Clinics; is an assistant class agent for his alma mater, Carleton College; and provides pro bono counsel to Hogar Irekani, an orphanage in Morelia, Mexico.
- Past President; Finance Committee Chair:Anatol (Andy) AhijevychLinworth United Methodist Church
Battelle Memorial Institute (Retired)Andy retired from Battelle after spending 37 years in various accounting/finance related positions. He graduated from The Ohio State University with degrees in Accounting and a Masters of Business Administration. He became a Certified Public Accountant prior to joining Battelle.
- Past President; Governance Committee:Carla NuenkeNorthwest Christian Church
Franklin County Alcohol, Drug, and Mental Health Board (retired)Carla is an active member of Northwest Christian Church, having served in several leadership positions including board chair, and is currently chair of the Stewardship Commission. She is a Professional Mental Health Counselor, having participated in direct service, social service program management, and retired from service planning at the ADAMH Board. She currently provides telehealth counseling through Better Help and Grow Therapy. She holds an MS in Life-span Development and an MEd in Counselor Education, both from Purdue University. In addition, she edits the newsletter for the Columbus chapter of American Mensa and is a member of their Executive Committee.
- At-Large; Wellness & Nutrition Committee:Amiee Romans
Amiee joined the board in 2016 afer graduating from The Ohio State University with a degree in Human Nutrition that focused on dietetics. A Columbus business owner since 2000, Amiee has dedicated herself and her business efforts to improving the health and wellness of the local community. Her experience includes business planning, marketing, nutrition education strategies and food safety. Amiee and her husband James, also an OSU Alumni, have a college-age son.

Cindy grew up in a mobile military family, enjoying diverse cultural experiences that shaped her empathetic perspective. She has held leadership roles in retail, customer service, and human resources for over twenty years. Cindy believes proper nutrition is necessary for a healthier and happier life and joined NNEMAP to help support their mission. You can find Cindy spending time with her kids, cooking, practicing yoga, and reading in her spare time.
NNEMAP Mural
With the participation of the staff and board members of NNEMAP we were fortunate to work with Phil Martin, a well known artist and muralist, to create this wonderful mural on our 55-foot-long east-facing wall. Over 80 volunteers and neighbors assisted with the painting project, which was completed in October 2015.
